Wendell Strout Memorial Scholarship

To honor the memory of Animal Control Officer Wendell Strout of Lewiston, ME who passed away in 2025, the Animal Control Officers Association of New Hampshire is proud to sponsor a scholarship for attendance and overnight accommodations at the New England Animal Control and Humane Academy in Durham, NH.

Applicant should be a currently employed Animal Control Officer from the State of Maine.

The scholarship includes the conference registration fees, overnight housing and most meals for the week.

Transportation costs, and personal expenses are not covered.

Application must be submitted no later than June 27th, 2026.
